Coaching Courses

Basketball Queensland (BQ), in partnership with our Associations and Clubs, host a number of coaching accreditation courses and events throughout the year.

BQ currently facilitate the Community, Club & Association accreditations and are working with BA to reinstate further accreditation pathways.

Club Coach Courses
- These are run primarily by our local associations and we recommend contacting your relevant Coaching Director in the first instance.

Association Coach Courses
- These are hosted by BQ and are generally offered once or twice a year based on demand, typically in March & November (can vary).

General Development Clinics
- Throughout the year BQ endeavours to host coach development clinics with a view for these to align with our Style of Play, including our annual 'Coaches Weekend'.
