NORTHSIDE WIZARDS V SD SPARTANS
This Saturday the Northside Wizards are back in action with a taste for vengeance, after losing by a single point against the Brisbane Capitals last weekend. This frustrating loss propelled a lot of talent into the limelight, including Courtney Woods (18 pts, 8 reb, 4 ast) and Steph Reid (18 pts, 9 ast, 5 reb, 4 stl) who both played the full 40 minutes on court. It comes as no surprise that Reid was a fan favourite from Round 4, given her impressive scores all season, averaging at 31.7 points to date. Given their narrow loss last weekend, Northside Wizards are ready to make every single second count in their match-up against the Spartans this Saturday.

Following their strong performances in Round 4, the Lady Spartans are on the top of their game. Cementing in two consecutive wins, the Spartans dominated the courts last weekend, leading in the rebounds, assists, steals, and second chance points in both their matches against NGC Seahawks and RedCity Roar. Spartans dropped several big scores last weekend, including Rebecca Haynes who landed 21 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals against Seahawks. Another star player was none other than Madelyn Willey, showing RedCity who was boss with 29 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to her name.

SWM PIRATES V GC ROLLERS
Sinking into 11th place on the ladder, South West Metro Pirates had a tough round last weekend with two consecutive losses against USC Rip City and Logan Thunder.
